A Net Neutrality bill has been introduced to the House, which is a very, very good thing.
The internet as we know it could not have been created without being a "dumb network," meaning that it knows no cares not what passes through it. Several major corporations have been working to change that, such that they control and interfere with what goes through their network (Comcast has been caught doing this recently).
There's been a lot written about Net Neutrality, so you can Google/WikiP that for a quick run down. Then call/write/email your House Rep (see previous post about Telecom Immunity) to let them know that if they want to represent you then they'll support HR.5353.
